The mini sensor in the remote controller can sense its surrounding temperature, and transmit the signal back to the indoor unit. This way the unit can adjust the air flow volume and temperature accordingly to provide maximum comfort and to save energy.
COMFORTABLE SLEEP MODE
Indoor air temperature automatically rises when cooling (and drops when heating). Before you wake up, the temperature is set to drop a little so you feel cool and refreshed in the morning.

So I got this unit because I live in a tropical country and, as you may expect, it's very hot. My previous unit gave up because it was a quitter and quitters never win, so I contacted Servair. They recommended and installed this unit and now I have a penguin problem.
Apparently, this thing has been so efficient and effective in cooling, and along with the effects of global warming, I've seen more and more penguins attempting to move into my living room, claiming refugee status. I've let a few in so far and spoke to one named Bob. He said his home was melting and, with my new Gree unit, the living room is his next best bet.
Not sure how to deal with this influx of penguins. I may have to build a wall.....
