How we size it
The rule local technicians use for tropical countries: 12,000 BTU/h covers up to 200 sq ft, 18,000 up to 300, 24,000 up to 400. Online calculators from colder countries quote more square feet per unit; that assumes insulated walls and cooler ambient temperatures and does not apply in Trinidad.
